We love what we do, and we love our customers. As such, over time, we like to share our musings and tales, or write handy tips and facts to help take the stress out of your move or storage needs. Please feel free to share your own hints, tips and stories with us - we may even publish them here for all to enjoy!

Reuse, Recycle, Reduce

4th July 2014

The Aussies love this phrase and we love it too! It makes perfect sense in a world of decreasing resources and expanding population but it also makes perfect business sense to us when it comes to moving house too.

Whether you're moving from Bungay to Norwich, or from Beccles to Wymondham or futher afield, our packing service isn't just a convenience, it's an opportunity to do our bit for the environment. By doing the packing for you and using our boxes and materials instead of having to source and buy your own from somewhere else, we can take the stress out of the actual packing and keep any waste to an absolute minimum. Our experienced team know how to make the most of every inch of cardboard, sticky tape and bubble wrap! Being efficient means we're able to reduce the amount of packing materials we use and being careful with what we use means we can reuse more than we otherwise might. And both those things mean our customers don't have to lift a finger or worry about the environmental impact.

Even if you do buy your own boxes or manage to get a few free from the supermarket, there's plenty you can do with them even after you move. Most people will probably throw them up in the loft and leave them there until the next move (on average about eight times in a lifetime) but what happens when you finally settle? Or if you have no loft or shed? Your local council might take them, your neighbours too (keep an eye out for that "For Sale" sign down the street and pass them on), or grab the kids and get out your craft knife and paints and turn them into a fire engine or a castle or Wendy house!
