Rather than bringing stuff from home, why not consider all chipping in and buying some communal equipment that you can share and as long as you stay on top of the washing up and cleaning then it frees up more storage space for people to keep their food and drink.
Put it On a Schedule
Student life can be busy. Studying for exams and having to sit up late to compete assignments can mean that housework and cleaning responsibilities move to the bottom of the list. Create a rota or a weekly schedule that reminds everybody of their tasks and duties and that way you create a little accountability in the house and ensure that your jobs get done. After all, clear as you go only works when everyone has time, with an equal share of the work you can keep your house clean and tidy.
