When and Where: Removal Drinks
Everyone needs to drink whether they’re moving house or not. However – as an interesting aside to our normal removals tips, we decided to put together a very basic guide as to what types of beverage you should be imbibing throughout the whole removals process. With some forward planning you can stock up on the right kinds of liquids to make your whole day run smoothly.
Tea, Coffee and Energy Drinks
On the day of removals the chances are that you need to be in full shape ready for a big day’s work. You’ll need some proper fuel in your tank and alongside a full English breakfast or a couple of continental style croissants you may want to add some caffeine to get you going. Coffee is the more natural choice as tea will only go so far and is widely recognised to have less of the good stuff, whilst the younger crowd may opt for a Monster or Red Bill to get the blood flowing.
Water and Juice
During the drive to your new location it is vital that you keep adequately hydrated to ensure that you have the right amount of energy to unpack. Sipping water throughout the journey will ensure that you have the right levels of fluid, preventing you from drying out which could lead to tiredness or fatigue before the day is done. If you like something with a little more flavour try juice, although this does tend to be rather high in sugar if you’re watching your weight – still the extra energy could be helpful during the whole removals process.
Beer and Wine
When the day is done and you are satisfied with a healthy day’s driving, packing and moving boxes and the whole removals process is over, then why not unwind with a lovely alcoholic beverage? Whether your favourite tipple is beer or wine it’s the perfect way to treat yourself with a little relaxation. Make sure that everything you need to do is done, or you may find that you’re a bit too horizontal to deal with those fiddly final tasks.
Why not sit down the pub or coffee lounge all day and let Alan Cook Removals take all the hard work out of the moving process for you? There’s nothing like letting the experts take the lead whilst you sit around quaffing your favourite libations.
